The Siyazama Project Collection has been built up since the inception of the project between 1999 and 2009. It is a three dimensional archive which talks of gender inequality, rape and sexual harassment, the plight of AIDS orphans and the role of rural married women. It outlines aspects of belief systems, hlonipha (system of avoidances and taboos in Zulu culture), mythology, supernatural occurrences and the role of traditional healers. It re-writes and up-dates contemporary Zulu cosmology. It also speaks of love and hope.
